Details
Boasting an enormous briolette-cut citrine of approx. 50 carats, this outstanding antique Victorian pendant is a wearable drop of sunshine you can take with you wherever you go. A favourite of Queen Victoria, citrine has long been admired for its warm, sunny glow and was once known as the “Merchant’s Stone,” symbolising prosperity, abundance, and joy. Expertly hand-faceted, the impressive briolette gemstone is suspended from a simple 9ct gold loop, its surface alive with shimmering triangular facets that catch and reflect the light from every angle.
Despite over a century of wear, this bold statement piece remains in excellent condition, with minimal wear to its dazzling facets. It’s now ready to get back out in the sunshine and will sit gracefully upon a fine gold chain, catching both the light and admiring glances just as it has done for generations.
