This spectacular Czech Victorian Paste Stone necklace is Circa 1860.
The necklace boasts deep, ocean blue Paste Stones, graduating in size around the necklace.
The largest Pastes are over 5ct in size.
Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that simulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones because it has relatively high indices of refraction and strong dispersion.
The blue of the Paste Stones have a beautiful tone showing from within.
The necklace is set in Sterling Silver gilded in 18ct Gold.
It also comes complete with a box, secure fastener.
Czecho is hallmarked on the fastener too.
This would look fabulous worn for a wedding.
