An exceptional antique Victorian diamond navette cluster ring, pavé set with a breath-taking arrangement of old mine cut diamonds that glitter magnificently across a large marquise-shaped gallery of silver, with an 18ct yellow gold back and band. The stones have a combined weight of approx. 2 carats and display superb SI1 clarity - H colour.
In the 19th century, old cut diamonds were celebrated as the pinnacle of craftsmanship, their facets carefully shaped by hand to capture and reflect the soft glow of candlelight. Though less flashy than modern cuts, their unique sparkle and fiery depth possess a romance and individuality that embody the artistry of a bygone era.
Dating to the late 19th Century, this grand Victorian diamond navette ring has remained in pristine condition. A true Victorian statement piece, it showcases a spectacular spread of natural diamonds that have dazzled countless eyes across its rich history.
