A gorgeous Antique late Victorian snake ring crowned with a stunning Old Mine cut Diamond which is approx. 0.40ct and accompanied by smaller Diamonds and red cabochon Ruby eyes.
Serpent jewellery was popular in Victorian times, after Prince Albert gifted the young queen Victoria with a serpent ring during their courtship. The snake came to symbolise an enduring love and friendship.
The ring is all solid 18ct Yellow Gold and a wonderful coiled design that looks beautiful wrapped around the finger.
