A grand Antique Victorian coiled snake ring from the turn of the 20Th Century fashioned in 18ct Gold with a line of five Old Mine cut Diamonds running down the serpent’s head (approx. 0.40ct total – SI1 clarity – H colour).
Serpent rings were popular in the Victorian era, after Prince Albert gifted the young Queen Victoria with a serpent ring during their courtship. The snake came to symbolise an enduring love and friendship.
It’s a great statement piece and complete with London hallmarks within that date it to the year 1900.
