A majestic antique pearl choker necklace from the late Victorian era adorned with two strands of lustrous natural baroque pearls, held securely by a 15ct gold box clasp set with two violet amethysts (approx. 2.5ct each).  

Baroque pearls are a true treasure of the ocean and produced organically by freshwater mussels or saltwater oysters. They’re desired for their exceptional lustre and irregular shape which gives them a more distinct character than their perfectly spherical counterparts.  

It’s a glamorous piece, measuring 14 inches with a beautiful collection of pearls that are fit for royalty.
