A fabulous pair of antique Etruscan revival earrings from the mid Victorian era fashioned in shining 18ct gold. They’re a wonderful design, with overlapping loops creating a shell shaped knot, with a long icicle dropper hanging from the bottom.
Etruscan revival pieces were crafted in the mid 1800s when ancient Etruscan jewellery was unearthed in tombs outside of Rome beginning a fascination with the style and giving birth to these beautiful pieces which were crafted in the same elaborate fashion.
The pair is in excellent condition and hang beautifully from long hook wires.
