An exquisite pair of antique Victorian drop earrings made in the Etruscan style with long pillars leading to a teardrop shaped tip decorated with golden balls and rope edging.
Etruscan revival pieces were crafted in the mid 1800s when ancient Etruscan jewellery was unearthed in tombs outside of Rome beginning a fascination with the style and giving birth to these beautiful pieces which were crafted in the same elaborate fashion.
The earrings are modelled in shining 18ct gold and fitted with long hook wires. They are in excellent condition and look wonderful dangling from each ear.
