Details
This elegant antique Victorian Art Nouveau bangle is crafted in warm 15ct yellow gold and features a charming floral motif at the front, set with a trio of vibrant magenta-pink pear-cut sapphires surrounding a twinkling old mine-cut diamond at its centre. The design is further enriched with curling leaves, delicately encrusted with creamy white seed pearls that extend gracefully down the tapered shoulders into the band.
Pink sapphires are associated with love and compassion, while diamonds and pearls symbolise eternal devotion. The trefoil-inspired flower motif, with its three petals, traditionally represents faith, hope, and love, suggesting this bangle was once a cherished romantic gift, given as a token of courtship, a wedding present, or an anniversary keepsake.
In remarkable condition, this late 19th-century bangle combines a graceful design with a soft, feminine palette of gemstones. Exceptionally crafted, it is held securely by a concealed box clasp and safety chain, ready to become part of a new love story yet to be told.
