A glorious antique Victorian aquamarine ring, showcasing an enormous cushion cut aquamarine, with a beautiful sea-green hue and glittering facets. It weighs an impressive 17 carats (approx.) and is claw set in a chunky 18ct gold mount that crowns it high atop the finger.  

Aquamarine is the birthstone of March. It derives its name from its tranquil, clear blue/ green colouring that emulates the beauty of a tropical ocean or icy glacial waters. It was once believed to be the treasure of Mermaids and is said to bring happiness, good fortune and eternal youth.
