Product Details
A delightful antique Victorian Harlequin lavaliere necklace, adorned with seven colourful gemstones across the bottom, a combination of pink, green and yellow topaz, quartz and tourmaline, with a large icy-white topaz suspended from a long dropper at the bottom. The stones range from approx. 0.75 – 5ct and are bezel set in 15ct gold links with a fine cable chain and box clasp attached.
Harlequin jewellery is named after the colourful costumes of the 16th century comedy actors of the same name. The style was popular during the 19th Century and saw wonderful pieces of jewellery abundantly decorated in coloured gemstones.
This is a gorgeous antique Victorian necklace, all in excellent condition, with a striking rainbow of natural gems on display that will add a playful splash of colour to any outfit.
