This impressive Antique Victorian large locket has been commissioned in Silver gilded in 18ct Yellow Gold. The locket features a belt and buckle design on the front with the word ‘MIZPAH’ displayed across it.
Belt and Buckle motifs were popular in the Victorian era as their infinite loop and secure buckle symbolised eternal love and a strong unbreakable bond.
MIZPAH is a Hebrew word meaning: ‘The Lord watch between thee and me when we are absent one from another’.
A stunning locket with a wonderful golden shine which comes with two internal sections to house photographs of loved ones.
