Details
An enchanting antique Victorian moonstone dropper necklace featuring a fringe of glowing cabochon moonstone droppers along the bottom, exhibiting a ghostly blue aura. They’re suspended from a fine silver cable chain, with four delicate chains festooning in-between, all gilded in a bright 18ct yellow gold.
The enchanting Moonstone derives its name from the stone’s ethereal, luminescent light that was once believed to be moonlight in solid form. In Greek mythology they were associated with Selene, the feminine moon Goddess and were said to guide you on the path to love, wisdom and new beginnings.
Dating to the late 19th Century, this glamorous Victorian moonstone necklace has remained in excellent condition. It displays a dreamy collection of natural moonstones that look gorgeous draped around the neck, making it perfect for glamorous evenings.
