Details
An enchanting antique Victorian moonstone fringe necklace, adorned with a graceful row of glowing cabochon moonstone droppers that shimmer with a ghostly silver-blue aura, as though moonlight itself has been captured within each stone. The gemstone has long been associated with Selene, the goddess of the moon and used in jewellery to symbolise feminine intuition, guidance, and new beginnings.
Each moonstone is nestled within a delicate silver halo setting that allows light to pass effortlessly through, enhancing their ethereal glow. They are suspended from a matching silver chain with a newer ring clasp added to the end, all beautifully gilded in a fresh layer of 18ct yellow gold.
A captivating late 19th-century treasure, this Victorian moonstone necklace has been lovingly restored and displays a dreamy procession of natural moonstones that drape elegantly around the neck, making it perfect for a glamorous evening occasion.
