Details
Be enchanted by this spellbinding antique Victorian moonstone garland necklace, consisting of a cable chain and seven fancy droppers, some of which resemble three-leaf shamrocks. Twenty-four cabochon moonstones decorate the garland, each with an ethereal silvery-blue glow that shimmers across the surface and intensifies with the light. It’s fashioned in silver, cased in a bright 18ct yellow gold and held securely by a tube clasp at the end.
The enchanting Moonstone derives its name from the stone’s ethereal, luminescent light that was once believed to be moonlight in solid form. In Greek mythology they were associated with Selene, the feminine moon Goddess and were said to guide you on the path to love, wisdom and new beginnings.
Dating to the late 19th Century, this glamorous Victorian moonstone necklace has remained in excellent condition and embodies timeless elegance and intricate craftsmanship, making it a stunning statement piece, with a dreamy collection of natural moonstones on show that are sure to captivate.
