The domed cabochon moonstones have a semi-transparent surface and bright inner luminosity that intensifies with the light, mimicking the silvery-blue light of the moon. They weigh between 1.2 and 2.8 carats and are bezel set in a broad 18ct yellow gold gallery, with split shoulder band.
The enchanting Moonstone derives its name from the stone’s ethereal, luminescent light that was once believed to be moonlight in solid form. In Greek mythology they were associated with Selene, the feminine moon Goddess and were said to guide you on the path to love, wisdom and new beginnings.
