This fabulous Antique Victorian Burmese Ruby ring is fully certified with 2.14ct of natural Rubies.
Four of the Rubies are unheated natural Burmese Rubies which are the pinnacle of all Rubies.
Burmese Rubies are among some of the rarest and finest gems in the world. Prized for their beauty, durability and high intensity red / pink colour which radiates from within.
The central Ruby is 0.60ct with 0.50ct Rubies at either side graduating down to 0.22ct.
The Ruby is considered to be the most powerful gem of the universe, given as a gift, the ruby is a symbol of friendship and love. Ruby is also the symbol of vitality and loyalty.
All set in a lovely original carved 18ct Yellow Gold gallery boasting beautiful all round workmanship.
There is a very small chip in one of the end Rubies, this is minimal for its age and part of the journey of the ring.
