Product Details
A fabulous antique Victorian carved half hoop ring from the late 1800s set with three natural cabochon opals (approx. 1.1ct) displaying a striking medley of vibrant colours alongside four twinkling old mine cut diamonds (approx. 0.20ct).
Opal is the birthstone of October. Their magic has been revered throughout history, desired for their enchanting rainbow of colours that flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the beauty of planet earth or the aurora borealis, with a burning orange sunset glowing behind.
The piece is crafted in 18ct gold with scrolled engraving down the sides and shoulders and the maker’s mark within the band. It’s a wonderful statement piece with a gorgeous collection of natural gems on top.
We recommend you insure for £2,500. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
