A striking antique Victorian solitaire ring from the late 1800s crowned with a large natural opal cabochon, weighing approx. 7 carats. It displays a magical spectrum of colours that flash and intensify with the light and is claw set in a raised 15ct gold basket gallery, with open under gallery and curved shoulder accents leading into the band. 

Opal is the birthstone of October. Their magic has been revered throughout history, desired for their enchanting rainbow of colours that flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the beauty of planet earth or the aurora borealis.
