Details
This stunning antique Victorian pearl daisy cluster ring was crafted during the aptly named La Belle Époque (the “Beautiful Era”) and is crowned with a luminous natural blister pearl at its heart, exhibiting a soft silvery-white glow, surrounded by a glittering halo of twelve hand-cut old mine diamond petals, totalling approx. 0.96 carats.
In the “language of flowers,” the daisy cluster symbolised innocence and new beginnings, making it a popular choice for anniversary rings in the early 1900s. The combination of the creamy, iridescent pearl and the diamonds’ bright inner fire create a palette of “moonlight and starlight” that symbolises purity, loyalty, and eternal love.
The piece is crafted in solid 9ct yellow gold with a substantial band, stamped “9ct” on the side, while the diamonds are set in silver within a scalloped, closed-back gallery, finished with delicate milgrain detailing.
Remarkably well-preserved for over a century, it remains in excellent condition and is ready to continue its romantic story, whether as a milestone anniversary gift or a true “something old” for a bride-to-be.
