Product Details
This stunning antique Victorian carved half-hoop ring is adorned with a trilogy of natural opal cabochons displaying a striking medley of colours (approx. 1.1ct total). Two sparkling old European cut diamonds are set in between with SI1 clarity – H colour (approx. 0.25ct each) and are accompanied by eight smaller diamonds along the border.
Opal is the birthstone of October. Their magic has been revered throughout history, desired for their enchanting rainbow of colours that flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the natural beauty of planet Earth or the aurora borealis.
The ring is crafted in 18ct gold with scrolled engraving down the sides and shoulders. It dates to the late 19th Century and showcases a mesmerising collection of natural gems that look beautiful spread over the finger.
We recommend you insure for £2,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
