Product Details
A gorgeous antique Victorian opal carved half-hoop ring from the late 19th Century, displaying a row of five natural cabochon opals, with eight twinkling diamonds nestled in between. The opals display a hypnotic display of colour and graduate in size from 0.15 to 0.30ct in the centre (approx. 1.1ct total).
Opal is the birthstone of October. Their magic has been revered throughout history, desired for their enchanting rainbow of colours that flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the natural beauty of planet Earth or the aurora borealis.
The gallery is modelled in 18ct gold and features pierced sides and scrolled engraving down the shoulders. It’s a fabulous Victorian ring, all in excellent condition with a mesmerising row of vivid opals that shimmer and change with the light.
We recommend you insure for £2,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
