Product Details
A beautiful antique Victorian carved half hoop ring (Circa 1890) adorned with three natural opal cabochons (approx. 1.2ct total). They display a vibrant rainbow of colours and are complemented by four twinkling old mine cut diamonds in between (approx. 0.20ct total).
The magic of opals has been revered throughout history. Its enchanting rainbow of vibrant colours shimmer and intensify with the light as ethereal greens, pinks and blues flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the beauty of planet earth or the aurora borealis, with a burning orange sunset glowing behind.
The gallery is modelled in 18ct gold with scrolled engraving down the sides, creating a fabulous platform for the stones to sit on. It looks gorgeous spread over the finger and is complete with Chester hallmarks and the maker’s mark within the band.
We recommend you insure for £1,800. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
