A sweet pair of antique “Key to your Heart” earrings from the late Victorian era. The pair is fashioned in 9ct gold and consist of a key shaped dropper and a heart charm featuring chased engraving and a central pearl gleaming in the centre. 

The Victorians loved romance and Heart and Keys were one of many popular motifs exchanged between lovers to represent the special bond and trust they share with one another as the recipient is symbolically granted full access and possession of the giver's heart.
