An elegant antique Victorian peridot topaz lavaliere necklace adorned with three droppers decorated with four lime-green peridots and seven golden-yellow topaz. The sunny gemstones complement each other beautifully and are a combination of square, pear and cushion cuts, weighing between 0.20 – 3 carats each.
Peridot is the birthstone of August and nicknamed the “evening emerald”. They’re considered a gem of the sun and a gift from mother nature with their natural lime-green colouring and inner light evoking the beauty of a sunny summer’s day, bringing joy and serenity to all who look upon it.
The stones are held in 15ct gold crown settings and join a fine 15ct cable chain complete with a tube clasp and safety chain. It’s all in excellent condition and is accompanied by its original box with a brown leatherette exterior and cream velvet/ silk interior, marked with the maker’s signature “Kemp Bros” on the underside of the lid.
We recommend you insure for £2,500. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
