This unique antique Victorian pendant is built around a large faceted clear Rock Crystal oval fruit which catches and refracts the light beautifully.
The beetle’s body has been carved from smoky Quartz, and perches on the at the centre of the Crystal fruit. Each of his legs and antennae have been lovingly crafted in base metal to give the creature a lifelike form.
Two carved smoky Quartz leaves crown the piece, with an engraved black Enamel and Metal bale above to complete it.
This is a beautiful pendant with a unique character, steeped in the history of the Victorian era.
