This magnificent antique Rock Crystal Pendant and Sterling Silver chain is genuine Victorian, Circa 1900.
The fabulous Clear Rock Crystal is beautifully cut displaying an engraved Silver Stork feeding among Reeds.
Storks have many symbolic meanings. They are a sign of new birth and motherhood. European folklore prominently refers to stalks as the bringer of new babies to their parents.
There is a small fault at the top of the where the bale has been attached but this is minimal wear for its age.
The pendant is complete with a Sterling Silver chain which is substantial and fitted with a secure ring clasp.
Purchased in London and steeped in English history. The necklace is a great talking piece and looks beautiful when worn.

Chain measures 18 inches in length x 3mm width.
Pendant measures 31mm across x 40mm down - 55mm including bale.
