Product Details
A grand antique Victorian sapphire diamond cluster ring, modelled in 18ct yellow gold. A trilogy of cushion cut sapphires take centre stage, with a particularly vivid deep-blue hue. They weigh between 0.50 - 0.80ct (approx. 1.8ct total) and are surrounded by ten glittering old mine cut diamonds, with superb SI 1 clarity – H colour (approx. 0.50ct total).
Sapphire is the birthstone of September. The blue variety is considered a stone of truth, wisdom and protection and has long been a favourite of kings and royalty, adored for its royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.
This is a striking Victorian cluster ring from the late 19th Century, displaying a fine collection of natural sapphires and diamonds that sit flat and curve gently around the top of the finger.
