A wonderful antique Victorian pin topped with a beautiful three-leaf shamrock with heart shaped petals decorated with rose cut diamonds, three blue sapphires (approx. 0.15ct each) and a central pearl.
Shamrocks were a popular motif in the Victorian era and have long been a symbol of the Holy Trinity, one leaf for the Father, one for the Son and one for the Holy Spirit.
The pin is crafted in 18ct gold with a silver shamrock. It’s a great collector’s piece and complete with its original red leatherette box, marked “Bothy and Lewis”.
