





An exquisite antique Scottish bow brooch from the mid Victorian era (Circa 1860) set with polished, banded agates with beautiful, natural colouring and patterning.
Scottish jewellery grew in popularity in the mid- 1800s as Queen Victoria’s frequent trips to her Scottish Castle Balmoral saw her return with Scottish souvenirs and jewellery which influenced the trend in Britain.
The piece is modelled in solid silver and has remained in excellent condition. It’s a wonderful collector’s piece and boasts some truly remarkable agates.
