This fabulous solid Gold Victorian Scottish bracelet is stunning, Circa 1900.
Scottish jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria as it became a souvenir of her trips to Scotland. From the mid 1800's Queen Victoria frequented Scotland and her Scottish Castle Balmoral.
Set with beautiful barrel Agates with faceted Gold ends which lead to a lovely Gold padlock.
The padlock depicts a Scottish plaid Agate shield and is complimented with a locket on the reverse, all in solid gold.
Agate is a strong mineral sometimes known as the earth rainbow for it’s patterned texture that shows varying colours the earth can produce.
Each individual Agate stone is unique, displaying beautiful colouring and polished to perfection.
All set in high carat Solid Gold and held together with the beautiful Scottish padlock.
Purchased in London and steeped in history.
