This stunning antique Victorian Scottish padlock Bracelet is Circa 1840.
Scottish jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria as it became a souvenir of her frequent trips to Scotland and her Scottish Castle Balmoral from the mid 1800s.
The wonderful bracelet is made up of beautiful barrel Agates set in beautiful engraved Silver links.
Agate is a strong mineral sometimes known as the earth rainbow for it’s patterned texture that shows varying colours the earth can produce.
Each Agate is unique with beautiful natural colouring and polished to perfection.
The clasp is held together by a detachable Silver padlock which is also decorated in colourful Agate stones.
This is a wonderful Scottish piece, steeped in history and looks beautiful when worn!
Weighs 42.3 grams.
Will fit a 6.5 inch wrist.
Each barrel Agate measures 12mm across x 28mm down.
Padlock measures 16mm across x 30mm down.
