This beautiful Victorian Scottish Silver buckle bracelet is Circa 1860.
The bracelet is fitted with Agate Links, which are set with beautifully engraved floral Silver panels and a fabulous adjustable buckle clasp.
The Agates show the natural grain from within.
The beautiful engraved clasp has three separate holes so that the bracelet can be adjusted to fit the wearers wrist comfortably.
Scottish jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria as it became a souvenir of her frequent trips to Scotland and her Scottish Castle Balmoral from the mid 1800s.
Agate is a strong mineral sometimes known as the earth rainbow for it’s patterned texture that shows varying colours the earth can produce. Each Agate is unique with beautiful natural colouring and polished to perfection.
Purchased in London and steeped in Victorian history.
The bracelet is such a statement piece, a true Scottish treasure.
