A wonderful pair of antique Scottish shamrock earrings from the Victorian era, Circa 1880.
The lovely pair are fashioned in the shape of shamrocks and feature lovely Scottish Granite stones cut to fit each of the three leaves.
Shamrocks were a popular motif in the Victorian era and have long been a symbol of the Holy Trinity, one leaf for the Father, one for the Son and one for the Holy Spirit.
The stones are backed in Silver and fitted with shepherd hook wires.
These are a highly collectable pair of earrings and very unique.
Weigh 5.1 grams together.
