A wonderful antique Victorian Scottish cuff bangle shaped like a large belt with a Citrine and two Amethysts set on top of the buckle.
Scottish jewellery grew in popularity in the mid- 1800s as Queen Victoria’s frequent trips to her Scottish Castle Balmoral saw her return with Scottish souvenirs and jewellery which influenced the trend in Britain.
The piece is fashioned in Sterling Silver and is solid and substantial. It's a beautiful design and has developed a lovely smoothness with age.
