A large Antique Victorian cuff bangle from the late 19th Century modelled in Silver and engraved with a swallow, a Butterfly and Ivy leaves across the front.
Together the imagery carries a lovely sentiment as swallows are known as a love bird and Ivy represents an unbreakable bond, as in the Victorian rhyme 'Close clings the ivy to the tree, so in my heart I cling to thee.'
It’s a wonderful antique find and holds securely around the wrist with a large box clasp at the side.
