This marvellous antique Victorian Suffragette ring is, Circa 1900.
The ring boasts craftsmanship, beautifully decorated in a 0.75ct Amethyst in the centre with two, 0.20ct Peridots sat at either side.
Four sparkling Diamonds can also be seen nestled in-between which are 0.02 each showing a superb cut, colour and clarity.
The combination of gemstones represents such a powerful time back in the 1900’s.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery popularly consisted of Violet Green and White colours which were chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking!
Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes.
