Product Details
This beautiful Antique Edwardian Suffragette ring is modelled in 18ct Yellow Gold and set with a gorgeous Gypsy set 0.10ct Amethyst, two 0.02ct Diamonds and two 0.08ct Peridots. The ring also features star shaped engravings around the gemstones, which accentuates them and looks fabulous.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which were chosen to counter the masculine women’s rights stereotypes put forward by opponents. Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes!
This fabulous ring, actually hallmarked 1898 has been modified after the turn of the century to house the gemstones and support the suffragette movement. It is steeped in history and sentiment, which dazzles in the light and will look incredible when worn.
