This fabulous Victorian Suffragette shamrock brooch is set in 15ct Gold, Circa 1900.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine. Their jewellery was chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking.
Give Women Votes. Green is for give, white is for women and violet is for votes.
Each shamrock petal is adorned with a 0.25ct Amethyst, which is surrounded by elegant Pearls.
A 0.15ct Tourmaline can be seen in the centre which compliments this beautifully designed Suffragette brooch.
