Details
A grand antique Victorian turquoise and diamond cluster ring, exquisitely crafted in solid 18ct yellow gold with scrolled carving down the shoulders. The broad half-hoop gallery is adorned with two rows of alternating sky-blue cabochon turquoise and sparkling old mine cut diamonds (approx. 1.1ct total), creating a beautiful contrast that evokes the tranquillity of the sky and sea.
This striking gemstone pairing was especially popular during the late 19th century. Turquoise, often linked to the forget-me-not flower for its delicate blue hue, symbolised good fortune and faithfulness, while diamonds represented eternal devotion - making such pieces deeply sentimental as well as decorative.
Now over a century later, this magnificent Victorian turquoise and diamond cluster ring remains in excellent condition. It is a remarkable antique statement piece that truly captures the romance, craftsmanship, and grandeur of the Victorian era, with a stunning collection of gemstones arching over the top.
