Details
This remarkable French aquamarine diamond cocktail ring is designed in the shape of an abstract eye with a clear-blue emerald-cut aquamarine on top (approx. 0.85ct) depicting the pupil. It’s flanked by six bright brilliant cut diamonds (approx. 0.50ct total) and surrounded by platinum bars that graduate and curve gracefully to form large, domed eye-lids, culminating in a thick band at the back, stamped with a faded French hallmark on the outside.
Aquamarine is the birthstone of March and takes its name from its serene blue-green hue, reminiscent of tropical oceans or glacial waters. Believed to bring happiness and good fortune, it pairs beautifully with diamonds, evoking the sparkling sunlight on crystal-clear seas.
This striking Art Deco era aquamarine diamond cocktail ring is a distinctive statement piece from the early 20th Century, with a bold, modernist design and stunning arrangement of natural gems on top that effortlessly catch the eye and appear to look straight back at you as you meet its gaze!
