Product Details
A glorious Art Deco choker necklace from the 1920s made up of two strands of natural opal beads with faceted rock crystals in between. The opals graduate in size from 0.20ct to 2ct at the bottom and are glossy and smooth with a magical play of colour that intensifies to a golden orange in the sunlight.
Opal is the birthstone of October. Their magic has been revered throughout history, desired for their enchanting rainbow of colours that flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the beauty of planet earth or the aurora borealis, with a burning orange sunset glowing behind.
It’s an enchanting piece, displaying a mesmerising collection of opals held by a navette-shaped fishhook box clasp fashioned in 15ct white gold with milgrain and three diamonds twinkling on top.
We recommend you insure for £3,200. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
