This outstanding sapphire diamond trilogy ring is adorned with a magnificent oval/ cushion cut blue sapphire which has been tested as natural and weighs approx. 3.7 carats. It has a desirable deep royal-blue hue and is complemented beautifully by two glittering trillion cut diamond shoulders that have excellent SI clarity – G/H colour and weigh approx. 0.55ct each. This is all detailed in an E.D.R certification card that accompanies the piece.
Sapphire is the birthstone of September. The blue variety is considered a stone of truth, wisdom and protection and has long been a favourite of kings and royalty, adored for its royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.
The ring is modelled in 18ct white gold, with a subtle yellow gold claw mount for the sapphire which joins a thick band at the back, complete with Birmingham hallmarks and the maker’s mark within.
It would make a striking engagement ring, with a stunning trilogy of natural gems, representing past, present and future, or those three little words, “I love you”.
