A sweet pair of Edwardian-inspired drop earrings adorned with two purple amethysts, weighing approx. 0.25ct each. They depict two hanging fruit and are held in milgrain bezel settings with two leaves above dotted with twinkling white cubic zirconia.
Amethyst is the birthstone of February and is considered a stone of protection, clarity and tranquillity. Its deep violet colouring has been highly esteemed throughout history, adorning regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.
The earrings are fashioned in silver, gilded in 18ct yellow gold and fitted with butterfly-studs at the back.
