A marvellous sapphire diamond pendant necklace boasting a deep-blue cushion cut sapphire in the centre, weighed at 2.91 carats. It’s complemented by a frame of twelve bright, clean brilliant-cut diamonds and four more on the bale above. They have excellent VS1 clarity - H colour and total 2.57 carats.
Sapphire is the birthstone of September. The blue variety is considered a stone of truth, wisdom and protection and has long been a favourite of kings and royalty, adored for its royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.
The pendant is fashioned in 900 platinum and features a fancy, basket under-gallery on the reverse, stamped with the stone weights. It’s accompanied by a silky box chain to display it on, stamped 850 platinum and comes with a ball slider so the length can be shortened if needed. It’s a stunning piece, exhibiting a beautiful collection of precious gems.
