A beautiful Suffragette tribute necklace featuring a fabulous Art Nouveau inspired pendant, made up of organic, scrolling motifs, decorated with twinkling white zirconia, three violet amethysts and a green peridot in the centre.
Jewellery displaying green, violet, and white was commonly worn to support the Women’s Social and Political Union (WSPU), a leading force in the UK suffrage movement in the early 1900s. The colours symbolised their core virtues: violet for loyalty, white for purity, and green for hope, and sometimes represented the acronym “Give Women Votes!”
