A colourful pair of Suffragette tribute earrings decorated with a cluster of four violet amethysts, four green peridots and a central brilliant cut diamond.
This combination of gemstone colours often paid tribute to the women’s Suffrage movement which took place in the early 20th Century and symbolised; Violet for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, or Give Women Votes!
The stones are all set in a 9ct gold gallery and fitted with butterfly stud backs complete with Birmingham hallmarks. They’re very pretty and display a wonderful selection of gemstones.
