This delightful Suffragette tribute cluster ring is set with a lime-green square cut peridot at its centre, haloed by four violet amethysts and four bright cultured half pearls. It’s crafted in silver and has been finished with sunny 18ct yellow gold gilt.
Jewellery displaying green, violet, and white was commonly worn to support the Women’s Social and Political Union (WSPU), a leading force in the UK suffrage movement in the early 1900s. The colours symbolised their core virtues: violet for loyalty, white for purity, and green for hope, and sometimes represented the acronym “Give Women Votes!”
This striking Suffragette-inspired cluster ring is a lovely tribute to the movement with a colourful assortment of contrasting gems on top that rest flat against the finger, making it comfortable for everyday wear.
