Details
This beautiful 9ct gold ring is claw set with three purple oval cut amethysts and two green peridots that alternate across the front. They weigh approx. 0.40ct each and contrast and complement each other beautifully.
The gemstone colours were often used together to show support for the women’s Suffrage movement which took place in the early 20th Century. A white stone was often present as well and together symbolised; Violet for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, or Give Women Votes!
It’s a striking piece, complete with Birmingham hallmarks within the shank and a fabulous combination of natural gems that fan out beautifully atop the finger.
