Fabulous Paste stones adorn these beautiful earrings, set in Sterling silver.
The wires are 18ct Yellow Gold.
Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones because it has relatively high indices of refraction and strong dispersion, the Romans in particular were very skilful in the production of coloured glass pastes.
They are genuine Georgian, Circa 1800
Steeped in English history, purchased in London.
These earrings would be perfect for a wedding or special occasion, they look beautiful when worn!
